“I wrote this song from post-heartbreak purgatory. It’s my messy word vomit, the back-and-forth guilt and confusion that I felt trying to move on from my longest relationship. I couldn’t go back, but forward was also really weird. I was in complete heartbreak limbo, not letting anyone in or out.”
